Q: How old should my child be to be seen by the dentist?
A: The best time is when he or she is about 2 or 3 years old. The first visit allows us to get to know your child and may involve a ride in the chair, counting of the teeth. As the child becomes comfortable we then introduce further aspects such as teeth cleaning, fluoride treatment.
