Hello, I am Dr. Werleman. I was born in Holland and raised on the Dutch island of Aruba, I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at Loyola University in New Orleans in 1988. I then obtained my doctorate’s degree in 1992 from the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious dental institution. After receiving my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, I completed a General Practice Residency at York Hospital in 1993, and began private practice in 1995 after 2 years of community and public health service at Southeast Lancaster Health Services.
My entire team and I actively attend continuing education courses on a regular basis, and we are fully up-to-date on the latest practices and technology. I am a participating member in several professional associations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the American Association of Women Dentists, the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Association of Computerized Dentistry, the Hanover/Gettysburg Dental Society.
I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, including whitewater kayaking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, golf, and traveling. I also keep busy with rally-obedience training, dog agility, dock dog and flyball competitions with my Bichon Bailey, Black Labrador Retriever Onyx & Toy Poodle Cookie.
